In the modern world, smart phones are everything to many people. They are constantly talking, taking pictures, texting and sharing through online platforms. Many people see their phones as more real than the world in front of them. For these people, it is often easier for them to communicate through texts. They would rather whip off a quick text message than call a friend or significant other. They believe it saves time and effort on their part.

It is a sad commentary on modern man that some people choose to dump a relationship without telling their partner what is wrong. Some of these people choose to simply send a text message rather than call or talk in person. While there are cases where the other person might be violent when spoken to in person, a text message is certainly the worst way to break up with someone. It shows a complete lack of concern or caring for another person.
